BRK Psychiatric Mental Health Services, LLC is a South Carolina-based provider of professional behavioral health services. Privately owned and operated by Dr. Bernice Roberts Kennedy, an Advanced Practice Nurse, we seek to provide our clients with the treatment, guidance and support that they need so that they can overcome their struggles and succeed in their endeavors.

We provide a holistic approach to mental health services focusing on the biopsychosocial-spiritual aspects of the person. Psychosocial assessments are provided to our clients based on their needs. We have faith-based counselors who provide emotional/psychological support and counseling to clients, with the combined use of the principles of spirituality and theories of behavioral science.

Our teletherapy will focus on behavioral health problems for adults such as depression, anxiety, caregiver stress and burden, grief, domestic violence (e.g., intimate partner violence, adult victims of abuse, family violence, etc.), workplace violence, and spiritual abuse (e.g., church hurt). Other venues of counseling will be face-to-face, phone, and conference calls – based on the individual need of the client.

NOTE: Online mental health services are not appropriate for people who are suicidal, self-injuring, homicidal, or who have mental health issues that require more intense care than one session per week.
