Women and children are trafficked around the world for purposes of forced prostitution, labor, and other forms of exploitation every year. While the legal and ethical ramifications of human trafficking are obvious, the mental and physical health implications must also be considered. This book is an overview of the literature addressing the violence of women and children related to inequalities in our society. The focus of this book will be on human trafficking.
