Dr. Bernice Roberts Kennedy received a Ph.D. in Health Services from Walden University and a Bachelor and Master Degrees from the University of South Carolina in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, and cognate Nursing Administration. Presently, she is a Senior Consultant for BRK Global Healthcare Consulting Firm, LLC. She is a researcher, educator, and clinician. Dr. Kennedy has worked as a researcher in various capacities during her work experiences. She is a national board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Kennedy has worked as a professor at various universities. Also, she has worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 45 years. Dr. Kennedy has many publications and presented on community-based and health-related research projects. Also, Dr. Kennedy’s current research studies have focused on minority health disparities and women's health issues.
